Wilderness and Ecological Reserves Advisory Council (WERAC)

In Newfoundland and Labrador, ecological reserves are established through a local public involvement process led by WERAC. WERAC is a volunteer advisory council that is appointed by government to advise on wilderness and ecological reserves.
