The Honourable Brian Warr, Minister of Education and Early Childhood Development, will join students, teachers and staff at Woodland Elementary tomorrow (Thursday, February 13) at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week. Woodland Elementary is located on Route 80, Main Road, Dildo. Minister Warr will be joined by Don Coombs, President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of School Councils and Dean Ingram, President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers’ Association.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, initiated by the Canadian Home and School Federation in 1988, recognizes the work of teachers, early childhood educators, administrators and school staff who are committed to children and their education.
