The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is seeking input from the public and stakeholders regarding a Crown Lands application from V&J Tectonic Inc. The company has applied for a grant of approximately 135 hectares of Crown land within the Town of Deer Lake (south of Glide Lake Road) to develop residential and commercial building lots, as well as a recreational area.
The Crown Lands Division will host a meeting with identified stakeholders and the public to provide input and finalize review of this application on Monday, November 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, 38 Bennett Avenue in Deer Lake.
To facilitate adherence to COVID-19 public health requirements, anyone wishing to attend is required to RSVP on or before Thursday, November 12 by emailing barbaraskeard@gov.nl.ca. Comments will be also be accepted until November 20 by email to barbaraskeard@gov.nl.ca.
