The call for applications for the 2025-2026 Municipal Capital Works (MCW) program opens on October 30, 2024. A circular was issued on October 29, 2024. The call for applications will close on November 29, 2024.

To administer the application process, the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure uses the Provincial Government’s online portal, Municipal Support Information System (MSIS). Guides and Forms for the system can be found here.

Municipal Support Information System (MSIS)
To gain access to MSIS, users require a USER ID and PASSWORD. Any user who has not obtained a USER ID and PASSWORD is asked to complete the appropriate form and contact the MSIS System Administrator at Municipalinfrastructure@gov.nl.ca.
All applications are required to be entered through MSIS. Previous applications will not be considered. A new application is required for each call.

The costs associated with the preparation and submission of applications are not eligible project costs and are the responsibility of the applicant.
